Our Dream
It is the dream of a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frightened, the frustrated, and the
confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.
It is the dream of sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ with the one hundred and ten thousand
residents of the Gravesham Area, and beyond that, to the entire South East of England, the UK, and
out to the Nations.
It is the dream of welcoming people into the fellowship of our church family – loving, learning,
laughing, and living in harmony together.
It is the dream of developing people to spiritual maturity through Bible studies, small groups,
seminars, retreats, and a Bible School for our members.
It is the dream of equipping every member for ministry by helping them discover the gifts and
talents God gave them.
It is the dream of providing a comprehensive relief program for the disadvantaged of our area,
showing the love of Jesus through practical ministry.
It is the dream of releasing ministries into the schools, colleges, prisons, and workplaces; and a
substantial children’s and youth work that reaches thousands.
It is the dream of impacting every
level of society with the love and healing power of Jesus Christ.
It is the dream of sending out career missionaries and church workers all around the world, and
empowering every member for a personal life mission; and sending members on short term missions
projects to every continent.
It is the dream of a church that will facilitate this vision, with beautiful, yet simple, facilities;
counselling rooms and a prayer centre, classrooms for Bible studies and training lay ministers,
restaurant and recreation facilities, a studio for music and media ministries and the development of
musical giftings, areas for ministry to children and youth and sheltered accommodation for elderly
members.
All of this will be designed to minister to the total person – spiritually, emotionally, physically, and socially. When we are doing all of this, we trust that God will guide us to the next steps.
